Dynamic Catalog Collection (DCC) is the ability for Bazaarvoice to collect and consume product catalog data using JavaScript events from client product display pages (PDPs).
DCC offers an alternative to traditional “product feeds” with important client benefits, such as decreased level of effort on product feeds, increased time to value, and increased client satisfaction. DCC can generate a catalog feed by itself or be combined with catalog feeds for specific use cases. For example, a client who cannot provide GTIN (UPC, EAN) data via the PDP Javascript can use DCC and also provide the “missing” GTIN data via a simple supplemental feed.
