Over the last few weeks we’ve rolled out a series of enhancements to your Portal reporting designed to increase visibility, improve data accuracy, and streamline your analysis workflows. From enterprise-scale performance to technical data standardization, here is how we’ve been streamlining your reporting experience:

1. Deeper Visibility: Multi-Instance Category, Product & Brand Insights

We have officially upgraded the Multi-Instance R&R Key Metrics report to eliminate those data blind spots for global programs.

  • Surgical Precision: Mirror local-level precision globally by explicitly grouping by Product, Category or Brand.
  • Operational Efficiency: Reduce data processing time from three days down to under 10 minutes.
  • Tailored Data Hierarchies: Build reports that give you the information you need by choosing whether to group global data by instance first or category first.

2. Enhanced Accuracy: Portal Reports Export Data Type Fix

Data consistency is the foundation of a reliable strategy. We have implemented a defect fix to resolve issues where leading zeros were trimmed and large numbers (like Product IDs) were incorrectly rounding during export.

  • Preserving Critical Identifiers: To ensure data integrity, identifiers such as Review or Product IDs will now be formatted as text strings rather than numerical types.
  • Smart Column Logic: Data clearly identified as numerical (e.g., columns starting with #) will remain as number types, while decimals and floats are preserved to protect average ratings.
  • Spreadsheet Flexibility: While this may trigger a “Number Stored as Text” warning in Excel, it prevents data corruption; users can easily convert columns back to numbers within their spreadsheet tool if a specific pivot table use case requires it.

3. Leaner Workflows: Scheduled Reports Optimization

To improve reporting accuracy and ensure our schedules meet your delivery targets, the Generate button has been removed from Scheduled reports.

  • Protecting Automation: This change ensures that one-off manual requests do not interfere with your automated daily, weekly, or monthly reporting delivery.
  • Running On-Demand Reports: If you need to run a scheduled report immediately, simply select Duplicate from the Action menu, change the report schedule to ‘none’ – and click ‘run report’
