These days ubiquitous terms like UGC seem to have lost their punch somewhat. In the early days the buzz phrase (UGC) was given its due attention. People went out and built blogs, forums etc - they still do. Somehow, people (certainly in my industry - Social Media in B2B environments) have overlooked the real value of UGC - perhaps clouded by new buzz words coming out all the time.

I firmly believe &#039;getting your users to positively market your product/service&#039; by generating content for you (UGC) is immensely valuable. Perhaps we should coin is &#039;Value-Generated Content&#039; (VGC).</description>
