Bazaarvoice Tops 100 Billion Pieces of Consumer-Generated Content Served in its Network
Milestone makes the Bazaarvoice Network one of the largest of its kind in the world
AUSTIN, Texas, March 8, 2017 — Bazaarvoice, Inc. (Nasdaq:BV), the provider of consumer-generated content (CGC), advertising, and personalization solutions, announced today that it topped 100 billion pieces of CGC served within the Bazaarvoice Network from November 2016 to January 2017.
The Bazaarvoice Network, which is one of the largest networks of shoppers, brands and retailers in the world, includes over 5,000 retail and brand websites across North America and Europe. Those sites feature more than 125 million consumer products and 300 million product and service offerings. The 100+ billion pieces of consumer-generated content were served across Bazaarvoice clients’ sites and syndicated to thousands of other retail sites in the Network. Each month, more than 750 million shopper devices view and share authentic opinions, questions and experiences about tens of millions of products in the Bazaarvoice Network.
Diving further into those Network statistics, 19 million reviews were submitted (an average of 207,000 per day), 6.4 million photos and videos were processed (an average of 4,000 per day), and 415,000 unique questions were answered during the three-month period.
